Uroboro Installation in Porcia
An intervention that integrates infrastructure, public art, and territorial development
FB Tanks was pleased to participate in the inauguration of the public installation Uroboro, held on January 17 at the new roundabout in Porcia along State Road 13. A significant moment for the territory, marking the completion of a strategic infrastructure project and, at the same time, the beginning of a new dialogue between transportation, art, and local identity.
The new roundabout represents a fundamental hub for mobility and economic development in the area. It improves urban connectivity, facilitates traffic flow, and supports the growth of a zone with a strong industrial vocation. It is within this context that the Uroboro Porcia installation is situated. A work capable of transforming a functional space into a recognizable place, rich in meaning and symbolic value.
Commissioned by Electrolux Porcia and created by artists Simon Ostan Simone and Mauro Peloso, Uroboro is a contemporary landmark that engages with the landscape and the community. The form evokes the concept of cycle, continuous transformation, and sustainability. Central themes not only for the art world, but also for industry and for those who operate daily with a mindset of responsible evolution.
For FB Tanks, the Uroboro installation in Porcia holds additional value. Simon Ostan Simone is a professional with whom we have collaborated for some time on other projects: a relationship built on mutual trust, solid expertise, and a shared vision.
Special recognition goes to Mayor Marco Sartini and the entire municipal council for successfully completing both the road infrastructure and the artistic work with determination. A concrete result that demonstrates attention to the territory and the ability to integrate urban development, culture, and long-term vision.
FB Tanks is proud to be part of a territory that invests in quality, infrastructure, and culture, looking to the future with responsibility and awareness.
