Industrial heat exchangers
WHAT THEY ARE
FB Tanks designs and manufactures custom industrial heat exchangers, developed to meet complex operating conditions and high technical requirements.
Each heat exchanger is designed according to the main international reference codes, including ASME, VSR, EN 13445 and AD 2000, ensuring regulatory compliance and long-term reliability.
Each unit is designed based on pressure, temperature, and design conditions, factors that directly influence the performance of the equipment. For this reason, every unit is developed by integrating thermal calculations and mechanical verifications, to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with customer requirements.
Design is closely integrated with production, ensuring consistency between calculation, manufacturing, and testing.
TYPES OF HEAT EXCHANGERS MANUFACTURED
- FIXED TUBE SHEET HEAT EXCHANGERS: Compact and robust structure. Ideal for clean fluids, high pressures, and applications with limited maintenance.
- FLOATING HEAD SHELL AND TUBE HEAT EXCHANGERS: A configuration that allows for the thermal expansion of the tubes, particularly suitable for high temperature differences and for systems requiring scheduled periodic maintenance.
- U-TUBE SHELL AND TUBE HEAT EXCHANGERS: Designed to facilitate inspection and cleaning, they are ideal for dirty fluids and for systems with high operational continuity, where rapid maintenance is a critical requirement.
Technical support and custom development
Alongside production, FB Tanks provides dedicated technical support during the design phase and in defining the most suitable solution, collaborating with the customer to implement customized industrial heat exchangers developed around actual operating needs.
Technical continuity and cross-functional expertise
The design of heat exchangers is part of a broad production context that encompasses the entire boilermaking environment.
This technical continuity across different types of equipment makes it possible to handle complex projects while maintaining consistency between design, production, and quality control.
